SUMMARY:Election Security & Your Vote Forum
DESCRIPTION:Progress For All will be hosting a major public forum on Election Security & Rigging on Thursday evening\, December 5th in Hollywood Beach\, Florida\, which will include leading election experts who are investigating how our elections are being rigged and proposing real solutions to ensure that future elections will be fair\, accurate\, transparent\, and verifiable. \n  \nWe are pleased to announce our lineup of confirmed speakers: \n  \nIon Sancho\, former Supervisor of Elections of Leon County\, Florida\, who has revealed the inherent vulnerabilities of Florida’s electronic voting machines to hacking and software manipulation. \n  \nBennie Smith\, Shelby County Election Commissioner\, Memphis\, Tennessee\, who as a computer programmer discovered flaws in electronic vote tabulation systems and showed how election results are easily flipped with just a few keystrokes. \n  \nVirginia Martin\, Democratic Election Commissioner in Columbia County\, New York\, who along with the Republican Election Commissioner has implemented a comprehensive post-election audit by the public-hand counting of all paper ballots cast. \n  \nLulu Friesdat\, award winning journalist who has led several research teams analyzing election results in Florida and throughout the country\, uncovering significant statistical anomalies in the results of key races. \n  \nCathy Jackson Lerman\, principal of the Lerman Law Firm which is conducting a whistleblower investigation of the Broward Supervisor of Elections Office. \n  \nTim Canova\, Nova Southeastern University Law Professor and former candidate in Florida’s 23rd Congressional District\, whose ballot inspection lawsuit prompted the Broward Supervisor of Elections to illegally destroy ballot evidence and all ballots cast in the 2016 primary. \nThe forum is a non-partisan event\, co-hosted by Progress For All and the Hollywood Democrats\, and co-sponsored by the Movement for a People’s Party\, whose National Director Nick Brana will speak about the importance of election security for restoring democracy. \nThe forum is a non-partisan event\, co-hosted by Progress For All and the Hollywood Democrats\, and co-sponsored by the Republican National Lawyers Association and the Movement for a People’s Party\, whose National Director Nick Brana will speak about the importance of election security for restoring democracy. \nWe expect to Livestream on Facebook and perhaps other social media for those unable to attend in person.
