Gimenez’s action came within hours of Trump’s unconstitutional executive order to punish Sanctuary cities. It’s Trump’s first step to fulfilling his campaign promise of deporting 11 million+ undocumented immigrants. \nTell Gimenez & the Commission: Miami-Dade is a Sanctuary County. We have not heard back from Bill Nelson on this urgent petition and we are coming together to demand an answer to our petition. http://www.change.org/SabalPipeline \nThe Sabal Trail pipeline is a 500 mile long pipeline endangering Florida’s aquifers\, the health of millions of people and wildlife. The joint venture between Spectra Energy Corp. NextEra Energy\, Inc. and Duke Energy want to bring this pipeline in direct contact with Florida’s pristine water resources. Scientific studies have shown these pipelines always leak and there are hundreds of toxic chemicals flowing inside this pipeline besides natural gas. \nNow more than ever our water is under attack and we most fight back for the sake of our health\, our environment and our children’s future. \nSenator Nelson was a critic of the Keystone XL pipeline and voted against it.
