Tell Gimenez & the Commission: Miami is a Sanctuary County

Chair Bovo has called a special meeting to discuss Gimenez’s (illegal) order to reverse the commission’s 2013 policy that protects undocumented immigrants from ICE detainers. Gimenez’s action came within hours of Trump’s unconstitutional executive order to punish Sanctuary cities. It’s Trump’s first step to fulfilling his campaign promise of deporting 11 million+ undocumented immigrants.
Tell Gimenez & the Commission: Miami-Dade is a Sanctuary County. Tell them we are a proud immigrant community and we need our local elected officials to stand with us, not Trump.
The meeting starts at 10am, but come early to make sure you get a seat inside.
